Creative Labs heeft een nieuwe driver uitgebracht voor Windows Vista en XP met 2.18.0001 als het versienummer. Deze driver is geschikt voor Sound Blaster Audigy-, Sound Blaster Audigy 2-, Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS- en Sound Blaster Audigy 4-geluidskaarten. Nieuw is de ondersteuning voor Dolby Digital, DTS-decoding en dvd-audioweergave onder Windows Vista; onder Windows XP werd deze functionaliteit al ondersteund. Daarnaast heeft men verschillende bugs aangepakt en opgeruimd. Fixes: • Resolves issues of intermittent and random application/system crash when playing games or running applications that use EAX®, DirectSound®, OpenAL and/or ASIO features. • Resolves issue of system crash when running DTM - Device Path Exerciser test in Windows Vista 64-bit. • Resolves issue of volume mapping leading to very soft volume level in systems using Windows Vista with Service Pack 1. • Resolves issue with distortion and noise occuring in systems with 4 GB of RAM or greater.

• Resolves issue with OpenAL playback of multichannel formats. • Resolves issue of system crash when performing immediate system shutdown after exiting Battlefield 2. Known Issues: • Applications from the original Sound Blaster Audigy CD will not work with this download on Windows Vista.

• Users are advised to use Audio Console included in this download to change speaker configurations. • Gameport is not supported in Windows Vista and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. • 6.1 speaker mode is not supported by Windows Vista. Ik heb hem mooi weer verwijderd en de 2006 WHQL driver er weer op gezet. Werkte bij mij altijd perfect dus deze update is niks voor mij helaas. Scriptcase Keygen Bandicam here. Mijn Windows volume regeling kon het opeens niet meer vinden met de audio console applicaties van Creative. Als ik het volume in Windows veranderde dan ging de schuif in audio console niet mee en vice versa. Naja we kennen allemaal het gezegde: If it ain't broken don't fix it.

Wel vaag trouwens dat de nieuwe drivers niet WHQL zijn. Misschien daarom problemen tussen Windows en Creative volume regelingen.
