After the first problem I described, and after I repaired SDL Trados installation, problem was resolved, and my Trados is functioning as normal. If you were activating for the first time, you have to follow instructions letter by letter, if you missed anything things can get rather hairy. If you activated the first time, and had THE SAME problem like me, then I believe my solution will work.

If even then it doesn't work, then Trados team got us. But not really. If you find the wall and can not do anything, uninstall the shi*, and run TuneUp Maintenance, or get some program which removes registry entries after uninstall, so basically when you uninstall Trados, run registry cleaner (TuneUp Utilities or other software), clean registry antries with that, and try installing again (NOTE: then follow crack instructions carefully). I have had a problem, and I THINK I found the cause - just in case anybody else has had this problem: you install fine, things work peachy for a few days and then on running SDL Studio you are suddenly faced with the Product Activation dialogue again, and an error that says: Error occurred retrieving your license. Error Details: Insufficient privileges (Support reference: InsufficientPrivileges - 108) The only option on offer is Deactivation (which you can't do, you get the same error) What you can do is uninstall and reinstall using the same process, and you get a few more days' use out of it - and then it happens all over again.
